When God Opens a Door, We Move: A New Chapter for 2026

Reflecting on God’s Faithfulness in 2025

Beloved in Christ,

As we step into 2026, our hearts overflow with gratitude for the many doors God opened for us in 2025. Each milestone was a testimony of His sovereignty, His timing, and His grace. We moved because the Lord led us, and as a result, we witnessed His hand shaping our ministry in remarkable ways.

Looking Back: 2025 Milestones of God’s Goodness

2025 was a year marked by divine openings and Kingdom advancement:

• The establishment and strengthening of Sanctuary of Hope (SOH) outreaches such as Klang, Kelana Jaya, Rawang, Seremban and Ipoh, including new communities emerging with fresh vision.

• The establishment of SDM School of Ministry exists to equip, empower, and release believers into their God-given calling. Through structured teaching, practical ministry exposure, and prophetic impartation, the school nurtures spiritual growth and prepares every student for effective service in the Kingdom of God.

• It is where calling is clarified, gifts are sharpened, and leaders are developed for the next decade of SDM’s global mandate.

• Leadership appointments and alignments, where God raised men and women—such as Rev. Dr. Carlo Socobos and others—to shepherd, oversee, and strengthen local works.

• The expansion of SDM’s ministry framework, including the SDM Family Special Group, home-based community initiatives, and increased global connections.

• Significant events and collaborations, such as ministry visits, conferences, and inter-church partnerships that broadened our reach and influence. 

• Inter-church collaborations such as Living Free Kelana Jaya and Berakah Revival Church Ipoh is such an example.

• Growth in SDM’s digital presence, including the launch of the SDM Blog and the rise of community learning materials and e-resources.

• The strengthening of SDM’s identity, with official logos, ministry documents, training tools, and a clearer structure for future growth.

• The SDV Charity Gala Dinner, a prestigious annual gathering dedicated to raising support for community empowerment, social upliftment, and charitable initiatives. Hosted by Sunshine Destiny Ventures (SDV), the Gala brings together partners, supporters, donors, and community leaders for an evening of purpose and celebration.

  This meaningful event combines fine dining, inspiring presentations, artistic performances, and charitable giving, all aimed at strengthening SDV’s mission to impact lives and build stronger communities. Through this Gala, funds are raised to support education, welfare aid, community development, and other compassion-driven projects.

  More than a dinner, the SDV Charity Gala is a reminder that when we unite our resources and hearts, we can bring hope, create opportunities, and transform destinies.

• The SDM Anniversary 2025 was a meaningful and spirit-filled gathering, held primarily to commission and affirm new leaders within Sunshine Destiny Ministries (SDM). The event celebrated God’s faithfulness over the ministry and marked an important milestone as SDM continues to expand its outreach, community works, and leadership structures globally.

  During the anniversary, leaders across various SDM ministries, community homes, and outreach initiatives were formally commissioned, recognised, and prayed over, signifying a new chapter of responsibility and spiritual mandate. The atmosphere was one of unity, thanksgiving, and renewed commitment to the vision God has entrusted to SDM.

  It was not merely an anniversary celebration, but a significant leadership commissioning service, setting the tone for the ministry’s forward movement into 2026 and beyond.

Every step we took in 2025 was a step through a God-opened door—doors we did not force, but doors He unlocked at the right time.

Stepping Forward: A New Chapter for 2026

Now, as we enter 2026, we recognise that God is not simply continuing what He began—He is advancing it. This new year is a chapter marked by readiness, alignment, and courage.

When God opens a door, we do not stand still.

We move, because He goes before us.

As we transition into this new season, let us embrace 2026 with:

• Discernment to recognise the next doors God is opening.

• Obedience to move when He speaks.

• Boldness to step into unfamiliar assignments.

• Unity as one family, one ministry, one heartbeat.

• Expectation for greater breakthroughs, deeper impact, and wider influence.

The God who opened doors in 2025 will open greater doors in 2026.

The God who provided leaders, resources, and opportunities will multiply them.

The God who guided us through every transition will carry us into a year of greater clarity and purpose.

Beloved, 2026 is not just a continuation—it is an acceleration.

When God opens a door, we move.

And in 2026, we move with faith, strength, and confidence in His unfailing leading.
