BOUNDARIES: What You Can Do and What You Can’t Do
Establishing clear boundaries protects the integrity, unity, and spiritual order of SDM. Every leader, minister, director, and worker operates within a framework that ensures consistency, accountability, and excellence across all SDM platforms.
WHAT YOU CAN DO UNDER SDM
1. Represent SDM in Your Assigned Capacity
- Carry out the ministry functions delegated to you.
- Use your SDM title, role, or ministry responsibility strictly within your designated sphere.
2. Teach, Minister & Serve in Approved Areas
- Minister in events, programs, and assignments officially recognized or approved by SDM Leadership.
- Use SDM materials, frameworks, and teachings when representing SDM.
3. Develop & Lead Your Assigned Ministry Project
- Propose programs or initiatives connected to your appointment.
- Lead home-based fellowships, evangelism efforts, training, or other delegated tasks.
4. Collaborate Across SDM Departments
- Work with other SDM leaders and teams for events, conferences, outreach, training, or development projects.
5. Grow as a Minister Under SDM Covering
- Receive mentorship, guidance, correction, and spiritual impartation from SDM Leadership.
- Submit proposals for new initiatives for approval.
WHAT YOU CANNOT DO UNDER SDM
1. You Cannot Represent SDM Outside Your Assigned Authority
- You may NOT speak, teach, or make announcements on behalf of SDM unless officially authorised.
- You cannot claim SDM approval for any activity that has not been formally endorsed.
2. You Cannot Create Independent SDM Programs
- No launching of ministries, networks, fellowships, or conferences using the SDM name without approval.
- No forming of SDM “branches,” “chapters,” or “groups” without official appointment.
3. You Cannot Use SDM Logos, Titles, or Materials Freely
- SDM branding must NOT be used for personal projects, publicity, or events without permission.
- Items like the SDM logo, SDM School of Ministry, minister IDs, or teaching content cannot be reproduced without authorisation.
4. You Cannot Introduce Personal Teachings as SDM Doctrine
- Only recognized SDM doctrinal values and approved teaching materials may be used when representing SDM.
- No personal revelations, doctrines, or prophetic interpretations should be presented as SDM’s official teaching.
5. You Cannot Collect Fees or Offerings Under the SDM Name
- All finances connected to SDM activities must follow SDM’s official financial policy.
- Personal fundraising under the SDM banner is strictly prohibited.
6. You Cannot Appoint People Into SDM Roles
- Only SDM Leadership can appoint pastors, ministers, directors, or leaders under SDM.
- You cannot expand SDM leadership structure on your own.
