Because every person carries a unique grace, SDM provides structured options to help new joiners begin their journey meaningfully and responsibly.

1. Become an SDM Family Member

This is the entry point for anyone who wishes to come under the SDM spiritual covering.

What this means:

• You are welcomed into the SDM Family internationally.
• You can participate in SDM gatherings, trainings, and conferences.
• You are spiritually covered by the SDM Apostolic-Prophetic leadership.
• No ministry obligations are required at this level.

This option is ideal for those who desire connection, guidance, and spiritual alignment.

2. Join an SDM Home-Based Fellowship  

SDM Home-Based Fellowships serve as small, relational communities where discipleship and growth happen weekly.

Purpose of Home-Based Fellowship:

• To provide fellowship, pastoral care, and personal encouragement.
• To nurture believers in prayer, worship, and Bible reflection.
• To build strong family bonds within the SDM Family.
• To identify future leaders and ministry potentials through observation and participation.

What a new joiner gains:

• A supportive spiritual family close to their location.
• Space for sharing, learning, and community involvement.
• Eligibility to participate in local SDM outreach or community assignments.

This option is perfect for those who want steady growth within a loving spiritual community.

3. Enroll in SDM School of Ministry 

Designed for those who feel a call to serve, teach, lead, or minister in any capacity.

What SOM provides:

• Certificate in Ministry training.
• Foundational doctrine, ministry skills, and SDM culture.
• Preparation for pastoral roles or individual ministry recognition.
• This pathway is essential for anyone pursuing ministry within or beyond SDM.

4. Serve in an SDM Auxiliary or Department

Every new joiner can begin serving according to their gifts and interests.

SDM Auxiliaries and Departments include:

• Sanctuary of Hope (SOH) Outreach
• Sunshine Dream Village (SDV)
• Youth, Worship & Music, Media, Missions
• Training & Mentorship
• Prayer Network
• Administration, Logistics & Hospitality teams
• Serving builds commitment, teamwork, and spiritual maturity.

5. Apply for Individual Ministry Affirmation  

For those who are already functioning in a personal calling or ministry.

IMA provides:

• Official recognition of your ministry under SDM.
• Guidance, accountability, and spiritual covering.
• Evaluation of calling, integrity, fruit, and ministry structure.

This is ideal for those with an existing ministry expression who seek apostolic-prophetic oversight.

6. Pursue the Five-Fold Ministry Pathway

For those called to serve as:

Apostle • Prophet • Evangelist • Pastor • Teacher

Requirements:

• Completion of SDM School of Ministry (SOM)
• Ongoing mentoring and ministry observation
• Spiritual maturity, character, and alignment with SDM doctrine

Important:

Pastoral or ministerial roles are conferred only by SDM letter of instruction.

7. Join the Leadership Development Track

For those showing strong potential, discipline, and faithfulness.

What this track includes:

• Leadership protocol training
• Mentorship from senior SDM leaders
• Opportunities to lead teams, departments, or Home-based fellowships
• Personal development in decision-making, character, and stewardship
• Entry is by recommendation only.

8. Be Commissioned Under SDM

The highest ministry recognition within SDM.

Commissioning includes:

• Official appointment into ministry or leadership
• SDM platform support and responsibilities
• Ceremony during SDM Anniversary or special events
• Affirmation of calling, character, and long-term commitment
• Commissioning marks a person’s entry into the apostolic-prophetic flow of SDM.
